Kassun Questions & Answers by Mikumomo

There are few questions that Mikumomo has asked Kassun and i guess i should share it here (well i tried to translate it therefore the answer seem to be summarized instead of full)


1) Q: Why did you enter QunQun?

A: Originally i like idols and it looks professional whenever i see them so one day i suddenly think that i want to become an idol and shown my smile to everyone. I also want been wanting to see what does it look like when seeing from the stage

2) Q: In QunQun what do you aim for?

A: During Summer to have a LIVE over the water around the stage at front of Fukuoka City Hall (福岡市役所)! This has always been everyone dream,right

3) Q: What is the most interesting thing that happen in QuQun till now

A: When i do the turning plate stunt during QunQun Audition! (and i think she said something about when she was going down the stairs after that she fell or something)

4) Q: What is the nice thing about Shingeki no Kyojin?

(i afraid i can't really translate the whole answer of Kassun here, but she said probably the not so scary part of the Kyojin in the story. She also mentioned that the personality of the characters are nice, the story itself is also nice. And also in the anime the equipments looks cool. Also everyone like to pretend that they are inside Shingeki no Kyojin)

5) Q: What do you do during your off day?

A: Shopping!

Like to stay at home too and like to obsess myself into anime, manga and movies till i don't want to return back to reality

I like afternoon nap too!

W Center

W Center (Double Center) is a position in QunQun that require you to stand right in front and be in the center. Just like any other idol groups, there will always be a center position.

For QunQun, there are two centers. How the centers were chosen will be determine by fan votes during Sousenkyo, the first and second most popular members with the highest votes will get the position.

Recently the former and current W centers of QunQun has a meet up and posted the below picture, i think it is a very great picture to show every fans about it.

Risarun and Kassun are both the first W center of QunQun. Risarun left QunQun in pursue of a model career, the fans voted Yukichi to be the next W Center together with Kassun still being a W center. Yukichi graduated from QunQun due to some reason, the fans chosen Rinapon as their current W center together again with Kassun.

W centers are the pillars of QunQun that the fans entrusted, therefore the position is such an important role to the group.

QunQun Official YouTube Channel

QunQun Official YouTube channel is aiming to hit 1000 subscribers as their target, currently it has 400+ subscribers.

In the past QunQun Official YouTube Channel contains most of the live streaming recorded in HD in it but they actually stop that plan. There are also some clips of the live performances they did which i also think it will be a good thing but also they stopped.

I feel very thankful to be able to hear the songs as they uploaded the performance during a LIVE, which is really useful for people who wish to hear their songs but unable to get their CD (even though you might get to hear fan chant as well but you can get to see the lyrics).

Recent videos contain things like their promotion of photobooks or their first Tokyo event etc.

I won't deny that the official YouTube channel of QunQun need more improvement if they wish to gain more subscribers, like actively uploading videos to it. But then, because they have a USTREAM channel as well i doubt they can really upload any much content as the USTREAM channel cover most of what it needed.

History Behind @LoveQunQun In Twitter

In the past, there are various account created to grab from the RSS feeds to show the blog update of a certain idol group. There wasn't really one for QunQun.

Created since some time ago by me, this particular account was created to inform the fans whenever a member update their blog. Actually to be honest, it was created originally for me to keep track the member blogs but then i find that it actually help other fans as well.Maintaining it wasn't an easy job, some times there are also mistakes in it (there was once ex-member Miitan actually tweet the account to inform that she wasn't a 2nd gen but a 1st gen member).

Members blog are one way to know what they have been doing recently and their feeling towards the fans.

Am happy also to see members themselves are following the account to keep track of other fellow members blog post.The account will always be updated whenever there are additional of members.

Now it is consider part of the project (^__^)

While QunQun members waiting for their time to go out for their events, what do they do?

Of course, they practice their dance steps and get themselves ready. But then, a little fun before going out to meet the fans and crowds...doesn't hurt right?

Today All@QunQun Vol.24

All@QunQun is a USTREAM show that consist almost all the members in it. It was stop quite a long time ago but finally it came back.

I really miss the times of QunQun members coming together in one stream and glad it was back.

All@QunQun vol.23 was shown on last Saturday, and today Vol.24.

Today episode MC was Saki (3rd gen),Aeringo (1st gen) and Reichii (2nd gen), the order of the generation that will appear is 1st gen,2nd gen follow up with 3rd gen.

1st gen members that appear are Yuki, Maya, Mikumomo and Aeringo herself. While they mention about Aeringo wearing differently from the rest of the 3 (because they all wear the same) and Mikumomo saying Maya and Yukki are Obaasan while she and Aeringo are the younger one, it is really quite funny. Sachiyo (Elegant comedian) appearance appearing and chatting with the members added up more entertainment.

2nd gen members that appear are Reichii herself, Ayayan, Yuigon, Minorin, Mikimochi, Yukabou and Assu. 2nd gen members are always the one that bring the atmosphere up. They played a little game that involved all of them.

I believe from the picture, it is enough to say how crazy is it.

3rd gen members once again try to introduce themselves more to the fans, i think the most surprising part is that 3 new 3rd gen members are introduced as well. With that many new members in QunQun, i have to say QunQun is really growing which is a good thing.

Also, it was one of the 3rd gen member Acchan birthday and they given her a surprise.

This is the kind of scene that i like to see, the senpais talking to their kouhai。Senpai are always a example to new members in how they can really learn from. Of course, being a senpai the role to guide their kouhai is also important.

I am really glad to see QunQun members working well together.

Looking forward to the next All@QunQun stream for sure!

Introduction of Jump!!みっくちゅPONじゅーSUN神汁100%Radi☆

Every week, QunQun has a radio stream on their USTREAM channel.

For today, there is 「Jump!!みっくちゅPONじゅーSUN神汁100%Radi☆ 」 featuring Kassun, Rinapon and Chiichan.

Every show, they will read all the different entries that fans will submit in

Regarding about what kind of topic they wanted the fans to submit their entry on, the members will list it out on their own blog.

Today items that they wish to gather:

- what are the kyun words that you want the member to say
- song request
- the topics that they can use

And there are a few corners that involve challenges as well

The radio show are hosted at T-Joy Hakata itself, fans can even watch it at the location itself instead of going into the stream.

Next  "Jump!!みっくちゅPONじゅーSUN神汁100%Radi☆ " schedule is not out yet but next week is another radio show "れいあややんに逢えリンGO!!"

QunQun Supporter Team Overseas

A group that was created by me in getting more people from all over the world to know QunQun.

Why is it called "QunQun Supporter Team", QunQun has released a shirt with the words "QunQun Supporter Team" on it. I like that shirt a lot and i like the idea. Maybe they did not initially think about calling their fans that way, i think it is a good idea to use it as a way to call us, the fans. Thus "QunQun Supporter Team" were used.

Since QunQun had travel to two countries, Thailand and Singapore before i think this is a good chance for me to find more fans out there.

The first time when QunQun went to Thailand, only two members were sent over to one of the Comic Event during July 2011.

Last year 2012, during October when there is a tourism promoting Fukuoka QunQun were invited over to perform in the event.

I start supporting QunQun since the end of 2011, and been always waiting for miracle to happen. The feeling of QunQun coming to your country is like a miracle and a dream came true.

Arrival Of My QunQun Goods

Today my QunQun goods were finally here.

 

This is not the first time i ordered stuffs over at the QunQun official net shop but i say their products are getting better and better. So what has arrived today was a few photos and a QunQun 2013 Endless Road DVD. The current new photo set, version 5 featured the Regular and Support Regular members in their new costume. Before that, photo set version 4 feature them in their previous costume. Probably what i don't really like seeing was the rank number being shown but over all the photos are really nice.

Today goods, i bought SayaSaya and Reichii version 5 photos because i did not get them when i was in Japan. I manage to get Mikumomo and Kassun one during one of the event in Oita.

 When put version 4 and 5 together side by side, it seem more like a complete set to me.

3rd Generation members photo set was on sale that time and i was thinking well in order to support 3rd generation members as well i bought some of my favourite 3rd gen members photo set. Both Matsurina and Akarin were nicely taken. I actually wanted more but it will be never ending for me to get more.

About the DVD, it is actually the live and the announcing of ranks during QunQun Sousenkyo. Actually, it is not only available in DVD. The company manage to also push out the sales of Blu-Ray format. Unfortunately for me, i do not own a Blu-Ray drive to be able to enjoy it so i bought the DVD one instead.

 Even though i already watched the whole QunQun Sousenkyo before when they were live streaming it, i would always wish to watch it again and again. When you really like a group that much and also, being an oversea fan that you won't be able to go the live on regular basis, watching all these would make me feel better.

For those who are interested in QunQun and wish to purchase their stuff, i don't think they offer any international shipping. So there is actually a way and i would like to teach you one day. So please wait till a guide is out soon in this blog.

New Assistant Chief Editor For QunQun Newsletter

Just announced not long ago, Mikumomo will not be working alone as the Chief Editor for QunQun newsletter.

Two new additional members have been added to the team, Aki and Chiichan as the new assistant chief editor.

And just announced today, Assu will be the new additional to the team as assistant chief editor

QunQun newsletter aim to bring to the fans about information on their upcoming events and lives, members recent activities and also introduction of new products in official net shop.

The Evolution Of QunQun Costume

Starting from the first blog post for Project I Love QunQun, i like to introduce and show the different costumes of QunQun along the years.

(First QunQun Costume)

When QunQun first debut, they were given a white top and a pink checkered skirt. At that time, only the chosen members were given the costume.

(Current Kenkyuusei Costume)

Slowly, the costume was introduce again but with a different color after different ranks were introduced, namely Regular, Tamago and Kenkyuusei.

A new Regular costume was introduced with a theme of black and red and a big ribbon at the back.Shortly after that Support Regular also gotten a new costume to differentiate themselves which is a complete pink outfit. Tamago were made to wear the first Regular costume (pink checkered skirt).

Recently around last month, the Regular and Support Regular members finally get a new costume with sticking the same color theme, there is a big heart at the front of the costume. There is still a slight difference despite being the same costume, first few rank in sousenkyo has white checkered line while the rest has red checkered line.

What is your favorite QunQun costume?

For me, i think the current new costume is nicely made. Think about it, a big heart in front and i am sure you can feel the love from the members.
